Here goes nothin’…
My 80 Day Obsession results from Phase One – the first 4 weeks! I started this program when I was 2 1/2 months postpartum (baby #4). I had starting back working out four weeks prior to this, trying different things on Beachbody On Demand until A Little Obsessed released on 12/20.
I have no results to show for those four weeks and there’s one huge reason why – I could not for the life of me get my nutrition back on track. Kind of stinks when you put in all that work for nothing, right?
I needed this program and it could not have come at a better time. I literally needed someone to slap the bad foods out of my hand and that is essentially what 80 Day did for me. Setting alarms to eat sounds ridiculous but it WORKED. Having a plan that told me which kind of foods I should be eating AT THAT TIME worked.
I didn’t cheat and I didn’t want to cheat. Ok, I had a beer and a brownie sundae on my birthday. ??But that was it. See the cool thing that happens when you fuel your body with GOOD FOODS is that it starts to crave good foods.
My nightly sweet tooth cravings – GONE. And if I do feel like I need something, I have a cup of tea. Actually, this has become a nice little calming, before bed habit for me. ?
Down 6.8 pounds and 2.5 inches total (all from my waist). I ate no less than 2000 calories a day, 6 times a day. I never once felt a dip in my milk supply!
I’m currently 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight but I’m honestly good here! My next goal – I’m going to bump up one more bracket (more food?? Yes please) in order to maintain this weight and to TONE. Time to really work on lifting that booty and carve out those abs! ??
